I think my greatest accomplishment in life was raising a beautiful family with the love of a wonderful man. Granted we have had our ups and downs but I only seriously thought about leaving one time. I was pregnant and hormonal and when I whipped out my beautiful red American Tourister suitcase to start packing I was surprised to see Jerry getting his suitcase also! I asked him what he was doing and he said he was going with me!! Now how can you top that! We have laughed about that for years!
I took an early retirement from the OSU Extension Service in 2011 to take care of my parents. I had to move them to Oklahoma that same year. We had about two wonderful years together before they both passed away at 98 years of age and exactly 30 days apart. What an extraordinary love story!

Most embarrassing moment: making a very visible marching error during the band's performance at the Browns vs. Steelers game! Anybody else want to own up to that???

We have always had cattle and I have helped my husband with most of the chores associated with these animals (except castration and the trimming of horns)! I am country to a certain extent only! We also raised bottle calves many moons ago! Can you imagine this city girl doing that? Now we stay home, drive to various doctors' appointments and spend time with our children, grands, and especially our precious
great grand! (or at least we will once this pandemic subsides!)
